Weekend Update.

Kenneth and I decided we needed a weekend away so we loaded up the car (and the dog) and we headed to his dad's for the weekend to spend a little time with him for Father's Day.

We got there Friday night and headed back this afternoon to see my dad and Kenneth's step-dad. We had a good time but let's say the weekend wasn't long enough, leaving me feeling like I need some rest.

We spent Saturday outside in the shade(it was freaking HOT) throwing horseshoes:

While Miley and Zoey did this (as they did ALL.WEEKEND.LONG)..They ran and wrestled and ran and wrestled. Miley finally found someone with as much energy as herself.

We broke for a little lunch before playing some more horseshoes and sittin around lazin in the shade. I was majorly cravin some Abner's as we don't have one near home here. It was some good grub.
And I believe Miley would agree:

Nowhere near as good as the good ole grub Bo grilled up for dinner...

Miley hardly took any time to break from all the fun. She was absolutely WORN OUT on the ride home. We cranked up the air conditioner and she laid down in the floorboard with her beloved fishy and laid under the vent to sleep the ride home... hair blowing under the air all the while.

Then it was home for a good clean bath and she is out for the night. All in all, we had a wonderful time and all I have left to say, from the Russell family to yours, is...
